The Oregon City Municipal Code and associated zoning maps direct development in the City by designating locations for land uses and minimum standards for what development will look like. The Municipal Code is comprised of rules that address all aspects of Planning regulations including zoning standards for development, architectural review, parking, signs, hillside development, home occupations, variances and other similar topics. The community agreed upon standards reflecting the future vision of the community, implements our Comprehensive Plan, and allow us to manage future growth effectively. The Municipal Code and associated zoning maps are periodically reviewed and updated. This is a collaborative process whereby we work together to improve the economic health and livability of the City.
